The Knowledge Innovation Centre (KIC) is piloting the issuing of Europass Digital Credentials for students part of the MicroCredX project. For more information on KIC click on “Partners” from the top level menu items of this page. 

The information provided in this form will be used by KIC for issuing the digital credentials on behalf of the awarding education institutions when the student has passed the course (this includes the relevant assessment/s). The information provided in this form will not be stored by the KIC. To issue the digital credentials, the information will be processed by the servers of the European Digital Credentials for Infrastructure (EDCI), but again, the information will not be stored on EDCI servers.

With Europass Digital Credentials (EDCs) you can prove your learning activities and achievements* with electronically sealed digital records awarded by the educational institution which provided the course. This digital credential can then be fully integrated with your Europass profile, that is why it is recommended, if applicable, to provide the email address that is already connected to your Europass profile.

*The EDC will serve as proof for your home universities to recognise and transfer the ECTS credit points (step-by-step instructions for this are on the main page of the catalogue).
