After completing the Production Technology Project course, the student will:
- Apply the basic structure of DIN 8580 and classify production processes according to this standard.
- Identify and apply common manufacturing processes.
- Assess fundamental parameters for the process selection during the product development processes.
- Understand the documentation of the dimensional product properties.
- Understand and develop basic production-related procedures on a project-specific basis.
- Create a simple project in the field of production technology from a technological point of view. design a simple workflow and workshop layout
- Apply different methods and technological process steps as well as basic manufacturing technology and industrial metrology for project/product development.
- Integrate and work in a team.
